Varun Hemraj
Founding Member of Abakus Group, Varun Hemraj presently serves as Managing Partner. He has extensive experience in back office operations for mid size wealth management firms.
Mr. Hemraj brings over six years of investment management and back office experience. Before joining Abakus he worked as a Senior Analyst at Hollander Asset Management, Miami setting up the back office infrastructure and managing the financial analysis and portfolio reporting and consolidation team. Prior to that he worked at BigSur Partners, GFG Capital in Miami where he was responsible for portfolio analysis, reporting and was the in-house I.T. consultant for the firm, advising on their I.T. Infrastructure needs.
Mr. Hemraj has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, New York. He is also certified in Advent Axys and Advent Performance Reporting and is a Registered Investment Advisor (Series 65).
Vinicius Ribeiro
Founding Member of Abakus Group, Vinicius Ribeiro presently serves as Strategic Advisor. Mr. Ribeiro brings over seven years of investment management and back office experience.
He worked as an investment advisor and the operations manager of BigSur Partners, a Florida based Multi Family Office. Prior to that he worked at Hollander Asset Management, where he was an integral part in the founding of the company. He also worked as an associate for Guggenheim Partners, where he used technology in researching, analyzing, and preparing customized, accurate and timely performance, appraisal and trade idea reports for both current and prospective clients.
Mr. Ribeiro received a BBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. He is also a Registered Investment Advisor (Series 65) and certified in Advent Axys and Advent Performance Reporting.
Sagar Chheda
Sagar has almost 15 years of experience in managing, building and implementing Enterprise-class software catering to manufacturing, supply-chain, quality and financial business operations. The experience includes multi-faceted roles of a manager, engineer, systems integrator, consultant and developer. Some of the functions in various roles that Sagar has executed include Program Management, Product Management, Data Modeling, EAI Designing, software evaluations, critical assessment for scalability and performance of software and delivery management of complex and large projects. Sagar has been exposed to ERP (Oracle Application), CRM (Clarify), EAI (web*Methods), E*Commerce applications, complex systems integration, and Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions. Some of the companies he worked for include CSC (USA) and start-ups in silicon valley (USA).
Rajeshwari Raaman
Raji currently works as Head of Operations. She has over 14+ years in Portfolio Accounting System Advent Axys (Multicurrency reporting). Prior to Abakus , Raji worked as a Senior Report Analyst for Venus Capital Management Inc. where her responsibilities included customized reporting through Axys report writer pro, Calculation of Profits for various hedge fund instruments, Performance Attribution Reports using risk factors including Currency, Country, Sector, Industry & Strategy & in setting up & updating the Company's Hedge funds in various databases.
Daya
Mr. Dayanand has a Masters in Business Management from Visvervarya Technological University, India. He is presently working as a Senior Analyst and has over four years of experience in back office operations and Advent Axys.
Naveen
Mr. Naveen has a Bachelors in Business Management from Bangalore University, India. He is presently working as a Analyst. He previously worked at India Infoline Limited a brokerage house in Bangalore as a Relationship Manager.
Mayur Gowda
Mr Mayur Gowda has a MBA in Finance & Marketing from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India. He is presently working as an Analyst and has over 3 years of Experience in back office services
